Building shapely arms
I have literally been swarmed this week by phone calls and emails of people asking me “Wes, how can make my arms and shoulders look like those swimmers in the Olympics?” Today I’m going to show you how you can achieve arms of an Olympic athlete.
Seated curl/Arnold press - I’m usually not a fan of arm curls but this exercise works not just your biceps but you shoulders and triceps as well.
Upright and bent over rows – Even though these exercises focus on the upper, middle and lower back region they still build great arms. Just like one of my first coaches told me. “Wes, you’ll never see a guy or gal with a muscular, fit back and skinny arms. Why, because your arms must grow and adapt with your back.
Triceps kickback - Having defined triceps muscles is the real secret to fit, athletic looking arms. Try this push-up variation called the diamond.

When working with weights, it is better for you to continue to increase the amount of weight lifted or increase the number of reps?
Mason
I’ve noticed that all the Olympic swimmers like Michael Phelps eat a ton of calories (like over 12,000 a day). If I want to look like him, do I need to eat like he does?
